Eva Pierrakos was born in Austria and lived in Switzerland before coming to the United States in 1939. During this time she became the channel for a highly developed spirit "Guide" who gave a series of lectures from which PATHWORK is derived. Over a period of twenty years, Eva Pierrakos drew to herself an ever-growing number of teachers, healers, and therapists who became attracted to the path of self-transformation taught by the "Guide". Working with her husband, psychiatrist John C. Pierrakos, founder of Core Energetics, Eva developed a total system of self-transformation, called PATHWORKS. Eva Pierrakos died in 1979,leaving behind her a rich legacy of more then two hundred channeled lectures from the "Guide", two flourishing PATHWORK centers, and a world wide network of thousands of students and followers of the teachings. Anna Harlas has taught Astra's Seminars throughout Europe and is now teaching the PATHWORK in combination with Astra's teachings. With this combined wisdom (which is created by reading the PATHWORK lectures and expanding the teachings through the channeling of ASTRA) bringing about a life changing experience.
